In between carrying out treatments, during this past winter, Catriona has also been out braving the elements and training for the Etape Loch Ness 2019. In the month of January she challenged herself to cycle 200miles, starting her fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. A cause close to her heart.
Keeping the training going through the rest of the winter and into spring, Catriona clocked up over 400 training miles in preparation for the main event and has now raised a total of £650 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A big thanks to the organisers of the Etape Loch Ness for a wonderfully organised event, to Macmillan Cancer Support for all their support along the way. Catriona was 1 of around 1000 cyclists riding for Macmillan and raised a joint total of £230,000 and a massive £1.25M to date.
